Issues building permits, inspects construction, and enforces the Town and 2020 NYS building codes.
🔨 A building permit is required for new construction over 100 sq ft; enlargements, alterations, or conversions; decks over 100 sq ft; sheds over 100 sq ft; and new or replacement pools (above-ground or in-ground).

Oversees subdivision regulations and site plan review, and in most instances considers special use permits. Applications start with a Pre-filing Conference — contact the Chairman to get on the agenda, and bring a sketch plan and any pertinent information.
