The Town Board of the Town of Schaghticoke met in regular session on January 14, 2026 at the Town Hall, 290 Northline Drive, Melrose, at 6:30 p.m.

Public comment
- A resident asked for an update on repairs to Barton Road. Supervisor Salisbury said the town is working on getting the road repaired.
- Residents who live in the Melrose Fire District came to discuss the increase in their taxes for the plan to build a new firehouse. They felt there had not been enough public posting of what was going on or of when the vote would be.
- A resident asked whether the positions had been posted.
Recognition
The Supervisor presented a proclamation recognizing Jennifer H. Molesky for her 25 years of service to the Town of Schaghticoke.
