The Town Board of the Town of Schaghticoke met in regular session on February 11, 2026 at the Town Hall, 290 Northline Drive, Melrose, at 6:30 p.m.
Present: Supervisor Salisbury; Councilmen Akin, Fogarty, and Ward. Absent: Councilman Rustin.
Approval of prior minutes

Financial & resolutions
Bills from the Town Clerk — $1,753,562.87. To approve the bills from the Town Clerk’s Scheduled Payment Report dated February 11, 2026. Resolution: Fogarty · Second: Ward · Ayes: All · Nays: None.
Budget transfers. To accept the February 11, 2026 budget transfers:
- Increase SW1-8310.4 and decrease fund balance by $12,000 for current expenses;
- Increase B4020.4 and decrease fund balance by $170 for registrar fees;
- Increase SR8160.4 and decrease fund balance by $4,350 for current expenses.

Reserve increases (from 2025 fund balances). To increase the following reserves:
- Part-town highway equipment reserve by $300,000;
- Sewer District #2 by $30,000;
- Water District #3 by $40,000.
